Floyd Tibbits

TIBBITS, Floyd -- Age 75, of Walhalla, SC, formerly of Irons, MI, died September 3, 2007 in South Carolina. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Thursday, September 6 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Bristol Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-9 PM Wednesday. Floyd was born January 9, 1932 in Swartz Creek the son of Ivy and Martha (Vincent) Tibbits. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Kathleen Curry in November 1, 1980. He retired from Armond Cassil Railroad Construction in 1998. Surviving are: wife Kathleen; 4 children, John Tibbits, Deborah Lambert, both of Moss Point, MS, Don Tibbits of Baldwin, MI, Margaret Brooks of Vancleave, MS; 3 step-children, John (Dawn) Pratt of San Diego, CA, Jennifer (Kevin) Hartway of Boise, ID, Wendy Axline of Cadillac; numerous grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Ivan Tibbits of Flint.
