Frances L. PRATT

PRATT, Frances L. - age 103, of Flint, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Willowbrook Manor. Services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor David A. Galbraith and Chaplain Anthony Ferriell officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries. Mrs. Pratt was born April 24, 1909 in Copemish, MI. She resided in Owosso from 1929 to 1960 and was a dietary assistant at Memorial Hospital in Owosso for many years. In 1960 she married Cleon Pratt of Swartz Creek. They lived in Swartz Creek and spent many winters in St. James City until his death in 1984. She then spent many winters in Naples, FL with her step-daughter-in-law, Doris Pratt. Frances enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. She was a committed Christian and spent much of her time reading the Bible and praying. Surviving are: daughter, Betty J. (Jack) Weber; step-sons, Delbert (Doris) Pratt, Herbert Pratt, Harley (Virginia) Pratt, Ira (Margaret) Pratt; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by step-daughter-in-law, Helen Pratt. The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Willowbrook Manor where Frances was loved and given exceptional care for the past 10 years.
