Geneva WOODHAM

WOODHAM, Geneva--Age 90, of Swartz Creek, went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 31 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Kirk Bodem officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, 1-3 and 5-8 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Geneva was born April 2, 1923 in Arkansas, the daughter of James and Ethel (McIntosh) Dunn, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. She married William Ralph Woodham on July 21, 1942 in Malden MO; he preceded her in death on October 4, 2003. Geneva was a member of the West Flint General Baptist Church since 1949, she was united with the fellowship of the First General Baptist Church of Flint, in 1996. Surviving are: 2 sons, Allen of Attica, Darryle and Delores of Swartz Creek; sister Dessie Whoberry of Poplar Bluff, MO; 2 Brothers, Curtis and Vearon Dunn of Flint, Otis and Rose Dunn of Malden, MO.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She also had many nieces and nephews and many friends whom she appreciated and loved. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary; 2 brothers, baby Richard and J.D Dunn.
