WHITE, George Elmo -- Age 100, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Ypsilanti, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday October 12 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremtaion Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will also be held at 1 PM Saturday October 13 at the Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois, Interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion, IL. Visitation there from 11 AM until the time of the funeral Saturday. Mr. White was born November 19, 1911 in Creal Springs, IL, the son of Edgar Elmo White and Lizzie (Borum) White. He was married to Flobelle Rector on March 29, 1930 in Marion IL; she preceded him in death in 2001. Mr. White retired from Ford Motor Company. He was an avid Fisherman, and a loving caring family man. Surviving are: daughter Barbara Mosier of Grand Blanc; two granddaughters, Deborah Brannon of Swartz Creek, Patricia and husband Timothy Kilbreath of Burton; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother Julian White of Marion IL; many nieces, nephews, and many more members of his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three brothers, Paul, John, and Carl; one sister Mabel; and son-in-law Charles Mosier.
