KOLOKYTHAS, Georgios - age 88, of Grand Blanc, a retired Fire Chief of Athens Greece, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc with the Very Reverend Fr. Angelo Maggos officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Georgios Kolokythas was born October 18, 1923 in Greece, the son of Panagiotis and Polixeni (Kalianteri). He married Panagiota Stefou on May 15, 1943. Surviving are: wife of 68 years, Panagiota "Patricia"; three daughters, Polly (Gus) Saites Grand Blanc, Demetra (Nick) Aggeli of Athens, Greece, Kathy (James) Sirakis of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren, Vicky Saites, Patricia Saites, Angelos Aggelis, Evie Sirakis, Georgios Sirakis, Vivian (Curtis) Federick; two great-grandchildren, Aris P. and Katerina F.
