MADDEN, Gerald P. - Age 40, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Mr. David Beckwith officating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation, 2330 N. Meridian, Indianapolis, IN 46208. Gerald was a graduate of Southwestern High School and had attended Mott Community College. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Surviving are: sister, Debra Smith of Flint; uncle, Bobby (Mary) Smith of Swartz Creek; aunts, Maxine Sharon and her daughter, Theresa Sharon of Swartz Creek and Juanita (Ed) Bradley of Flint; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Pruiett; father, Gerald F. Madden; 2 sisters, Dana Linder and Toni Groff; brother, Shawn Madden.
