Gerald Mesack

MESACK, Gerald Todd - Age 81, of Fenton, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 22, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Wednesday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or the charity of one's choice. Gerald was born January 8, 1926 in Saginaw, the son of Leo and Eleanor (Cubitt) Mesack. Mr. Mesack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Estes and was a life member of the Linden V.F.W. He retired after many years of working in carpet sales and installation. Surviving are: wife, Isabelle Steele Mesack of Fenton; six children, Dallas and Susan Mesack of Swartz Creek, Sue and Robert Raymond of Lennon, Todd and Pam Mesack of Swartz Creek, James and Jackie Mesack of Rockford, Jane and Gary Kelleghen of Rose City, Gayle and Brian Raymond of Lennon; eight step-children, Tom, Scott and Mark Lengyel, Dennis Steele, Deborah Ciotti, Christopher Steele, Valarie Soldan and Bethany Wolfran; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Mesack of Linden, William Sobey of Flushing; sisters, Joyce Ciesielski of Linden, Kay Huggins of Flushing.
