Geraldine Parker

PARKER, Geraldine- Age 71, of Flushing, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Genesys Health Park.  Jeri was born June 28, 1935 in Saginaw, the daughter of Milton and Mary (Husack)Mayer.  She married Paul D. Parker June 28, 1957 in Flint and had 2 sons whom she was very proud of.  Jeri was a loving and caring wife, mother and daughter who enjoyed family get togethers, the theatre, painting, traveling with friends and the quarter slots.  She was known for her quick wit and dry sense of humor.  She was young at heart and young people flocked to her side for conversation.  She will be dearly missed.  Surviving are: her father, Milton Mayer of Flint; 2 sons, Mark, Matt and wife Robin; beloved aunt, Anne Holland; cousins, Kathy and Bobby Schmidt; dear friends, Janet and Jerry Seamans, Pat Morse, Keith Foltz and many others family and friends to numerous to mention.  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, mother, Mary Mayer and many aunts and uncles.  Memorial bequests may be made to Youth Projects at Zimmerman School, C/O Connie Rau, 2421 Corunna Road, Flint, MI 48503.
