Gladys ROWE

ROWE, Gladys - Age 91, of Fenton, loving mother and grandmother, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Entombment will follow at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, 1-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the West Flint Church of the Nazarene or Argentine Church of the Nazarene. Gladys was born February 28, 1919 in England, the daughter of Arthur and Emma Thompson. She was married to Albert Junior Rowe on July 25, 1942 in Flint; he preceded her in death on June 28, 2001. She had resided in Mt. Morris before moving to Fenton. Mrs. Rowe attended Argentine Church of the Nazarne. She was a member of West Flint Church of the Nazarene and a former member of Mt. Morris Methodist Church and Richfield Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are: daughter, Gloria J. and husband James Lindsay of Fenton, Robert and wife Deborah Rowe of Flint; grandchildren, James and wife Marleny Lindsay, Robert Lindsay, Tiffany and husband Jeremy Grove, Ashley Davidson and Bill Pittsley; great-grandchildren, Matthew Davidson, Owen Pittsley, Gwendolyn Grove, Helena Lindsay.
