Gordon TANDESKE

TANDESKE, Gordon Dale - age 70, of Lennon, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Bethel Cemetery in Mount Sterling, OH. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM Wednesday at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 W. Main St., Mount Sterling, OH. Gordon was born April 27, 1941 in Flint, the son of Leo and Eva (Spencer) Tandeske. HE married Sue Ellen O'Day on February 5, 1966 in Tampa, FL and she preceded him in death n July 30, 2005. Mr. Tandeske was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Vietnam War and retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1980. He also owned and operated a family farm after retiring. Gordon was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand, the VFW and DAV and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are: daughter, Diane Tandeske and husband, Jeff Beacham of Lennon; three grandchildren, Alexander, Amber and Amy Sue Beacham.
