MARASCO, Guido, of Grand Blanc, (native of Detroit) died Saturday February 7th, 2015 in Grand Blanc, MI. A celebration of Guidos life will include Visitation Wednesday, February 11th, 12PM to 8PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint and again 10AM until time of mass at the church on Thursday morning. A funeral mass be held 11AM Thursday February 12th, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11714 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Father Gary Koenigsknecht officiating. Burial following mass at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Guido leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth Brady-Marasco and children Guido Jr. Antonio, Barry Marasco and Pamela Russell: grandchildren, Jordan, Jillian, Julia, Alexa and Michael: loving siblings Joanna Jones, Isabel Domm and Johnny. He was preceded in death by his parents Sarah (Perry) and Anthony Marasco, first wife Marlene Hemlick, his twin sister Marie Testasecca, and brothers Louie and Andy Marasco. Guido was a veteran of war for the United States Army, and an entrepreneur since childhood. During his career, he owned multiple production studios, including Bump Shop Record and GM Records in East Detroit, where many of the motor city's greatest musicians, including Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin and James Brown, among others recorded. Later in life, his entrepreneurial spirit brought innovation to the automotive industry with advanced prototype technology. Guido lived a life helping others reach their potential along with a generous heart for giving to those in need. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
