Gwendolyn Acheff

Acheff, Gwendolyn - age 78 of Flushing, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Acheff was born on September 21, 1929, the daughter of Clare O. and Rose (Thompson) Fulhart. She and George Acheff were married on November 29, 1946 in Illinois. Mrs. Acheff was a longtime member of Community Presbyterian Church in Flint. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving is her husband, George, two sons; Larry (Gwen) Acheff of Schererville, Indiana and Dennis (Marilyn) Acheff of Flushing; one daughter, Susan (Gary) Phillips of Omaha, Nebraska. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Ben, Heather, Ricky, Kelly, Brian and Nicole. One brother, William (Maybelle) Fullhart of West Bend, Wisconsin, a sister-in-law, Marjorie Keene of Fenton and brothers-in-law, Jack and Dave Acheff. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek. Dr. Rhashell Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 3 to 8 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until service time. Memorial gifts may be given to the Arthritis Foundation. Mrs. Acheff's family would like to thank the staff of Fostrian Manor, especially Karen for all their care and concern and also they thank the I.C.U. of McLaren Regional Medical Center.
