Hazel Habermehl

HABERMEHL, Hazel  age 93, of Flint, died December 31, 2005 at Kith Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Hazel was born July 13, 1912 in Gladwin, the daughter of Fred and Lulu Smith and went to school in Owosso and Flint. Hazel married Ervin Habermehl in 1932. She took nurses training and worked off Registry. She was a nurse all of her life and worked in most of the hospitals in and around Flint. She frequently informed the nurses on how to care for her and that she was a nurse for nearly 50 years. She was preceded in death by: her husband in 1995; four brothers, Clifford, Walter, Leroy and Kenneth; sister, Irene Jordan. She leaves one brother, Lewis of Owosso and many nephews from across the United States. She will be missed. www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
