Henry Pettis ROBERTS

Roberts, Henry P. age 85, of Linden, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral service will be held 12:00PM Friday, August 27, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 209 East Broad St, Linden. Visitation will begin 4:00PM Thursday until 9:00PM at the funeral home. Henry was born in St. Louis, Michigan October 26, 1924, son of Henry G. and Mary (Norvell) Roberts. He married Mary Jayne Lashmet in Bowling Green, OH on January 1, 1953. Henry served our country in the United States Army as a Sargeant during the Korean conflict. Mr. Roberts owned and operated Linden Distributors for over 30 years. He was also a member of Fenton Lanes, enjoyed singing, dancing and great danes. Henry is survived by his daughters, Kathi (Jeff Shipman) Ceresia of Corunna, Liza Morrison of Owosso, Becki (Mike) Becker of Illinois, Stephanie Colwell of Corunna, Bronwyn (Paul) Kershaw of Linden; 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brandy, Bianca, Nicholas, Brittany, Sabrina, Blair, Alyssa, Erica, Emily, Ashley, Autumn; many great-grandchildren and 3 on the way.
