Hilton Mills

MILLS, Hilton - age 63, of Flint, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Rev. Bernice Matejcek officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hilton Mills Memorial Fund to a trust for his grandson. Hilton was born June 28, 1943 in Flint, the son of Francis and Linna (True) Mills. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam as an A.P. He married Patsy Carol Peavyhouse on January 17, 1964 and she preceded him in death. Mr. Mills retired from Delphi as a machinist after 25 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local # 651. He was active in the Southwestern Academy Schools, was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and spending summers at Washakie Golf Resort in North Branch. Surviving are: son, Anthony Mills and wife, Alanna of Swartz Creek; two grandsons, Joshua Mills and Jentry Speck; brother, William Mills of Manistique; sister, Jay Ann and husband, Dennis McDonald of Kalkaska; special "son" Michael Robbins.
