Ida Peckman

PECKMAN, Ida Maxine - Age 92, of Flint, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, died Sunday, June 26, 2016. Burial has taken place in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to an animal rescue of your choice. Maxie was born on Christmas Day in 1923, in Goreville, Illinois. She married Lester Sutton on April 5, 1941. She worked as a beautician when her children were older and later retired as a baker at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. She married Floyd Peckman on June 8, 1985. She loved all animals, had a green thumb, and loved to bake. Her passion was her children, grand children, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Douglas (Chris) Sutton, Shelia Sutton, and John Sutton; grandchildren, Robert (Jayne) Sutton, Angela (Pete) Boehm, Carrie (Pete) Varney, Richard (Heather) Sutton, Michael Sutton, and Jennifer (Brad) Norton; fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Lester Sutton and her husband of 26 years, Floyd Peckman; parents, Lionel and Gladys Thulen; sister, June Aubin; brother, Wendel Thulen; son, Gary.
