Ida Riske

RISKE, Ida  Age 74, of Flushing, died Sunday, October 12, 2003 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the German Church of God, 2393 S. Elms Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Waldemar Makus officiating. Interment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. Mrs. Riske was born March 3, 1929 in Brysche, Poland, the daughter of Wilhelm and Bertha (Schulz) Rode. She married Daniel Riske on December 25, 1952 in Germany. Mrs. Riske was a member of the German Church of God. Surviving are: husband, Daniel Riske of Flushing; two daughters, Adelheid and husband, Erard Gunther of Swartz Creek, Edeltraud Edel and husband, Ronald Johnson of Flushing; son, Erich and wife, Michelle Riske of Flushing; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Elsa and husband, Felix Schmalz; two brothers, Helmut and wife, Irma Rode, Horst and wife, Karin Rode, all of Germany; several nieces and nephews, all of Germany.
