Irene HARKEY

HARKEY, Irene - Age 94, of Fenton, formerly of Flint, died December 21, 2013. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 3, 2014 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Irene was born October 1, 1919 in Muskegon and was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. Surviving are: children, Pat (Russ) Bergstrom, Carol Fray, John (Sharon) Broner; grandchildren, Steve (Rose), Diane, Linda, Debbie, Kathy (Will), Diane (Randy), James (Julie), John (Candie), Lori (Richard), Cliff (Sara), Shelley (Scott), Shawna (Randy), Ondrea (Matt); many great, great-great, great-great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Harkey; brothers, Harry and Franklin Armstrong; son-in-law, Larry Fray.
