Irene Skerjance

SKERJANCE, Irene - Age 82. of Linden, died November 10, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and at church Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Argentine Care Center. Irene was born August 1, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of Ignatius and Elizabeth Mierta. She was married to Anthony Skerjance who preceded her in death on October 7, 1983. Mrs. Skerjance retired from Linden schools after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Irene is survived by three sons, Matt (Suzann) of Swartz Creek, Anthony of Grand Blanc and James of Flint; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
