Irene STILES

STILES, Irene - age 89, of Linden, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at Fenton Health Care. Services will be held in Murphy, NC. Interment will be held at Friendship Church Cemetery in Suit, NC. Irene was born April 8, 1922 in Knott, KY, the daughter of Elihu and Myrtle (Wicker) Triplett. She married Ernest H. Stiles in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Stiles is survived by: son, Ernest D. and wife, Charlene Stiles of Linden; two grandchildren, Ernest S. Stiles and Jeniffer; Stacey Lynn and husband, Tony Romanowski; three great-grandchildren, Emily and Julia Romanowski and Hannah Stiles; four brothers, Clyde, Paul, Charles and Arnold Triplett.
