James Smith

SMITH, James Albert - Age 76, of Holly, died Friday, July 25, 2014. A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM Monday, July 28, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Fr. David Blazek officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. James was born September 13, 1937 in East Tawas the son of Edward and Frances (Fredrickson) Smith. He married Ardith M. Misener July 25, 1959 in East Tawas and she preceded him in death September 26, 2013. He retired in 1999 from GM Truck and Bus after 33 years of service. James had resided in Holly for the past 48 years coming from East Tawas. Surviving are: sons, Greg Smith and wife Denise of Clarkston and Brian Smith of Holly; 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Cody, Isabelle, Ava, and Tristan; brother, Dale Smith of Holly; sister, Barbara Aubry of Fowlerville; and many nieces and nephews.
