James Hetherington

HETHERINGTON, James A. - age 69, of Lennon, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday and 12-3 and 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Hetherington was born July 22, 1942 in Flint, the son of Albert R. and Irene (Couture) Hetherington. He married Darlene Boyle on September 15, 1962 in Flint. Mr. Hetherington was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force for 8 years and the U.S. Army for four years serving during Vietnam and retired from Meijer's. Surviving are: wife, Darlene; three children, Laura (Jeff) Quick of Flint, Dana Montney of Flint and Corey (Stacy) Hetherington of MS; six grandchildren; brother, Richard (Patricia) Hetherington of Texas.
