NOFFSINGER, James Richard, 'Jim' age 61, of Fenton, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Avalon Hospice, Flint. A memorial service will be 1PM Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends 12PM Saturday until the 1PM service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Avalon Hospice. Jim was born March 22, 1947 in Flint the son of Richard and Betty Noffsinger. He was a 1965 graduate of Fenton High School. Jim received an Associates Degree from the former General Motors Institute in 1968 and was a member of the Craftsman Guild. Jim had been employed as a tool and die maker by General Motors until his retirement in 1999. He married Laurel Glover in Fenton on November 25, 1994. James was also a member of the Barrons Motorcycle Club and an avid NASCAR fan, especially #24, Jeff Gordon. Surviving are his wife, Laurel Glover; mother, Betty Story; 3 children, Stacey Wagner (Martin), Chad Noffsinger, Jamie Noffsinger (Merle Krueger); 5 grandchildren, Caitlynn, Mollie, Hayley, Johnathan, Kaden; sister, Judy Huffman (Mark); brother, Mickey Noffsinger (Paula).
