Janet Drake

DRAKE, Janet - Age 56, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at her home.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 14176 N. Fenton Rd., Fenton; Pastor Steven Schick will officiate. Janet was born June 4, 1948 in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of John and Esther (Eagle) Lifer. She was a graduate of Ashland High School and earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Capital University, Columbus,Ohio. Janet was married to Dean A. Drake on July 3, 1970 in Ashland, Ohio. They have lived in Fenton since 1973. Mrs. Drake had been employed by Detroit Children's Hospital and Hurley Medical Center. She later worked in home health care for Bay Valley and Visiting Nurses Association.Surviving are: husband, Dean; two children, Sara Drake of Salt Lake City,Utah; Jesse Drake of Holland, Mich.; mother, Esther Lifer of Ashland, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Lifer and wife Deborah of San Diego, Calif., Gary Lifer and wife Kumi of Chesapeake, Va.
