MILLER, Janette -- Age 61, of Linden, died August 6, 2010 at her home surrounded by family and close friends. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, August 10 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation 4-9 PM Monday. Ethel Janette was born February 28, 1949 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Carl Douglas and Charlcie Craiglyn (Jones) Newell. She had resided in the Linden area for over 50 years. She was a 1967 graduate of Linden High School and was a graduate of Baker Business College. She had worked for Genesee County CMH for many years. She was a member of the Southmoor Ladies Golf League. Janette is survived by: three children, Stacie and husband Chris Ward, Amanda Miller, Donald Miller III; former husband of 27 years Donald Miller II; two grandchildren (Amanda's children) Brent and Megan Roberts; parents, Carl and Charlcie "Pat" Newell; two brothers Larry Newell, Nelse Newell; special friend and companion of 10 years, Mr. Dana Warth; special friends, Peggy Newell, Kristine Kinyon, Betty Ciesielski, Jan Hoover, and April Mater.
