JoAnne NEDOFF

NEDOFF, JoAnne- Age 64, of Linden, passed away unexpectedly September 2, 2011. Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 5, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Dear family friend, Rev. Elaine Radloff, officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. She spent 43 years married to Albert Nedoff, Jr., her best friend and soul mate. She leaves behind three children that were the pride of her life. JoAnne worked as an optician and in hospice care. She battled Multiple Sclerosis for more than 30 years, and helped educate others about the disease. She loved the outdoors, and spent many hours near a lake, fishing, catching and releasing, even though she was allergic to fish! She was an avid supporter of police agencies, and was immensely proud of her husband and son for serving in law enforcement. JoAnne was born March 21, 1947, in Gary, IN, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Repya. She attended Gary Emerson High School. JoAnne leaves behind her husband, Albert Nedoff Jr.; children, Lisa LaPlante (Ken), Scott Nedoff (Kim) and Andrea Nedoff Rizzo. She adored her grandchildren, Skyler LaPlante, Scotty and Sophie Nedoff, and Annabella Rizzo. She is also survived by brothers, Joseph Repya (Deb) and David Repya (Anita); brother-in-law, Jerry Nedoff; sisters-in-law Marsha Andrejevich (Milan) and Rosanne (Zach) Lent; nieces and nephews, Robyn (Repya) White and Molly Repya, Joseph and Christian Repya, Lydia and Alexandra Andrejevich, Zach Lent, David and Christopher Nedoff, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There are countless others that she touched in her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
