Joann Payne

PAYNE, Joann Marie- Age 68, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Steve Makranyi officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM Friday and 10-11 AM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Joann Payne Memorial Fund. Joann was born January 5, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Frank and Helen Kovalcsik. She was a graduate of St. Michaels in Flint. She worked for Loftus Title. Joann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and was very crafty, always making things for others. Joann is survived by her three children, Melissa (Tim) Lotter of Gillette, WY, Melanie Payne of Albany, NY, Conrad Payne III (Paige) of Columbiaville; five grandchildren, Paul, Donielle, Michael, Benjamin, and Conrad; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Oliver; siblings, Frank (Tina) Kovalcsik, Phillip (Sharon) Kovalcsik, Timothy Kovalcsik, Theresa (David) Badgley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her very special cousin, Ann Marie.
