Joann Weedon

Weedon, Joann, E., age 84, of Burton, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. Funeral services will be at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Township. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuseday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Andrew's Soup Kitchen. Joann was born in Flint, the daughter of Arthur and Olga (Fuller) Sargent. She retired from Flint Osteopathic Hospital after 17 1/2 years of service and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Survivors include; daughters, Betsy Ann Cook of Burton, Wendy (Robert) Spears of Texas, 5 granddaughters, Alexis Cook, Ashley (Brent) Darling, Lindsey, Lauren, and Amanda Spears, 2 nieces, 2 great nieces, special friends Sherry Telling and Kathy Cook. She was preceded indeath by her husband Thomas in 1965 and her parents. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Redwood Manor for making Joann's last few months happy.
