Joel Sisson

SISSON, Joel Edward- Age 50, of Flint, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at First Flint Seventh Day Adventist Church, G-4285 Beecher Road, Flint. Pastor Doug Carlson officiating.  Burial in Mt. Morris Cemetery, Mt. Morris.  Visitation will be held from 2-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Joel was born August 22, 1956 in Flint, the son of Albert and Joan (Johnson) Sisson and has lived in Flint his entire life.  He married Pamela Sue Henson May 8, 1979 in Mt. Gilead, OH.  He was employed by National Amusement (Showcase Theaters).  Surviving are:  wife, Pamela Sue; daughter, Melanie Marie Davis; grandson, Cody; mother, Joan and husband Ronald Taylor; 5 brothers, David, Daniel and wife Helen, Paul and wife Esther, Mark, Matthew and wife Roberta Taylor; many nieces, nephews and special friends.  The family wishes to extend a special thanks to his family at First Seventh Day Adventist Church and his friends at Showcase Theaters.
