John Natzel

NATZEL, John H. - age 76, of Lennon, died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 21, 2008 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Steve Mattson celebrant. Visitation will be held 11-3 and 5-9pm Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek; and at the church from 10am until time of mass. A Rosary Service will be held 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Ones Chose. Mr. Natzel was born July 2, 1932 in Flint, the son of Clyde W. and Florence M. (Baggs) Natzel. He married Geneva E. Hughes and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2004. Mr. Natzel retired from General Motors in 1982 after 31 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local # 599 and St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: six children, Barbara (Melvin) Dart of Flint, Kay Ann (Dwight) Haywood, Debra (Larry) Keys, all of Lapeer, John Natzel of Flint, Jr., Howard Natzel of Lennon; Mark (Gretchen) Natzel of Lennon; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchild; four brothers.
