Joseph KALMAR

KALMAR, Joseph - Age 87, died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Jewish Home for the Aging in Reseda, CA. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Machpelah Cemetery in Flint with his grandson, Rabbi Wes Kalmar officiating. Joseph was born January 1, 1922 in Hungry, the son of Itzhak and Wilma (Goldberg) Kalmar. He owned and operated Kalmar Bros. Bakery in Flint for many years before retiring to Florida. Surviving are: two daughters, Alice Leavitt of GA and Judy Bernstein of Los Angeles, CA. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
