Josephine Dunsmore

DUNSMORE, Josephine M., age 81 of Grand Blanc Twp., died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Mrs. Dunsmore was born in Flint on July 30, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Julia (Naseff) Joseph. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Flint Northern High School. She married Clarence "Bill" Dunsmore on November 23, 1946 in Flint and he survives. Mrs. Dunsmore worked  14 years at the Grand Blanc Schools as a cafeteria baker and server. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family along with socializing and entertaining neighbors and friends. Surviving are her husband Clarence; her 5 children: Diane Dunsmore of Burton, Randy Dunsmore (Nancy) of Grand Blanc, Sandra Dale (Ronald of Walbridge, Ohio, Jill Moore (Mark) of Grand Blanc and Jacqueline Bowles (Robert) of Fenton. also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren. Mrs. Dunsmore was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marion Caporal, a brother, Jamel Joseph and a sister, Anna Joseph. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp. Deacon Ron Kinney will officiate and burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitation at the funeral home on Monday from  2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Cancer Society. Josephine's family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of intensive care and the 4th floor at Genesys Health Park for all their care and kindness.
