Joyce Wenn

WENN, Joyce Ann - age 78, of Flint, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Heritage Manor. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, September 29, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Fred McClelland officiating. Interment will follow at Cook Cemetery, Saginaw. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice. Ms. Wenn was born February 21, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Lloyd Edwin and Jane Arlin (Matthews) Wenn. She was a graduate of Dye High School and had played professional softball in her younger years; the team she played for was entered into the Hall of Fame. Joyce retired from General Motors as an Inspector. Surviving are: two brothers, Lloyd (Chris) Wenn of CA, John 'Jack' (Ramona) Wenn of Flint; sister-in-law, Dianne Wenn of Fenton; many nieces and nephews.
