Joyce Wheeler

Wheeler,  Joyce, age 73 of Burton, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Clinton, Twp.  Mrs. Wheeler was  born in Detroit on June 27, 1933 a daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Marque) Bartek and has been a Flint area resident for many years. Mrs. Wheeler retired from the cash office at the  K-Mart on Dort Hwy. after nearly 30 years of service.She was a loving, caring and giving person. Surviving are 5 children;Catherine (Mark) Skellenger of Bethlehem, NH, Collete Wyte of Leonard, MI, Michael Wheeler of Burton, JoAnn VanDenheede (Donald) of Clinton Twp and Rusty Wheeler (Kelly) of Burton. Also surviving is her mother, Elizabeth Bartek and 9 Grandchildren; 2 sisters; Margo Trolley (Steve) of Rochester Hills, MI, Pam Krantz (Art) of Clinton Twp and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, a son and her husband, Russell in 2003. Services for Mrs.Wheeler will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp.  Rev. Grant Wessel will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Her family will receive visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M.Saturday until service time.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to a charity of choice.
