NAGY, Julius  Steve "Joe" , age 90, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Tanglewood Assisted Living. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Monday, March 26, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. The family will meet at the funeral home 10AM Monday for prayers, then process to church for Mass. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A Rosary will be prayed 4PM Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign, Avalon Hospice or Tanglewood Assisted Living. Joe was born December 6, 1916 in Fenton, the son of Josef and Theresa (Lankovics) Nagy. He married Florence B. Foley January 10, 1948 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Joe attended Fenton Schools, and was owner/operator of Nagy Brothers Excavating for 36 years. He resided in Fenton all his life and was a committed member of the community, belonging to many organizations including the Linden Sportsmans Club, the National Rifle Association, Operating Engineers Local #324 for 55 years, and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Florence; 2 sons, Steven John Nagy and wife Pamela of Fenton, William James Nagy and wife Jody of Gaines; grandchildren, Joshua Nagy of Troy, Lindsey Nagy of Knoxville,Tennessee, Aimee Nagy of Charleston, SC, Jonathan Nagy of Fenton, Trevor Martin and wife Nicole of St. Johns; sister in laws, Sandy Foley and Norma Foley of Fenton; brother-in-laws, Paul Sapiano of Fenton and Max Foley and wife Marianne of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Jeanette, Regina; brother, Elmer;  brother-in-laws, John, Gabriel, James, Leo, Thomas, Phillip, Jack; sister-in-law, Clara Sapino.
