Katherine Morgan

MORGAN, Katharine Norris - age 89, of Beulah, formerly of Linden, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Maples Medical Care Facility in Frankfort. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, October 22, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 5-8 Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Activities Department of the Maples Medical Center, 210 Maple St., Frankfort, MI 49635. Mrs. Morgan was born November 22, 1917 in Highland, MI, the daughter of Clare J. and Maude (Redman) Haas. She married Hubert M. Morgan on May 31, 1937 in Flint and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1979. Mrs. Morgan was a real estate agent with Flannigan Realty in Flint for 15 years. She has resided in Beulah the last 30 years where she volunteered as a senior companion for 15 years. Surviving are: two daughters, Betty (Gerald) Smith of Grand Blanc, Kathleen (Art) Gorden of Beulah; 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Lowler of Lansing; nephew, Terry (Doris) Cook; extended family in North Carolina, Gaylord Spohn, Ted (Lynn) Spohn, Tim (Debbie) Spohn and Carolyn (Ron) Warley. She was also preceded in death by: two children, Clark Morgan and Dorothy Larson; brother, Redman Haas.
