Kathryn MICHNIEWICZ

MICHNIEWICZ, Kathryn, age 90, passed away peacefully at Genesys Convalescent Center Wednesday, July, 18, 2012. Kathryn was born in Poland on March 27, 1922. She met and married her beloved husband, Kazimierz, after WWII and they eventually moved to Flint. Her love of family came first and her faith gave her the strength through difficult life experiences. Kathryn endured many tragedies- burying her wonderful husband, Kazimierz in 1980, then her beloved granddaughter, Anne Kathryn Cameron in 1995. She is survived by her children, Mary and Paul Cameron, Chris and John Morin and Ed and Karen Michniewicz. Most precious to her were her grandchildren, Christine DesOrmeau, Erin and Katy Morin, and Rebecca Gales. She also adored her great-grandchildren Madeline, Jack, Kobe, Logan and Annabelle. We wish to thank Dr. Amy Daros for the compassionate care she gave our mother and the outstanding staff at Genesys Convalescent Center who cared for Mom with tenderness and respect.
