Leland LaRock

LaRock Sr., Leland 'Lee', age 69, of Burt, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at home surrounded by his family Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, December 8, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Intermnet will be at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be Saturday 5-8 PM and Sunday 1-8 PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family or Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute. Lee was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, son of Erwin and Bernadette (Naylor). He had worked for General Motors, as a welder, for 28 years, retiring in 1991. Surviving are his wife; Mary, sons; Leland Jr., Steve, and Jeff, daughter; Julie, step-son Rev. George Wilson III, 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, brothers; Hans, Roger, Erwin, Bruce, Frank, sisters; Naomi LaRocque, Donna Dale, LaVone Walters, Sylvia Chapman, Jeanette Kaufman, and Audrey White.
