Lorene Wallace

WALLACE, Lorene - Age 77, of Fenton, died Thursday, September 15, 2011. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Mrs. Wallace was born February 5, 1934 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel and Esther (Dugan) Welch. She had resided in Fenton since 1981 coming from Flint. She married Robert E. Wallace November 3, 1956 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death May 28, 1992. Surviving are: 3 children, Barry and wife Angela Wallace of Swartz Creek, Lori and husband Timothy Gilliam of Lewisberg, TN and Steven and wife April Wallace of Durand; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Gilliam of Lewisberg, TN, Samantha Joyce Schaler of Lewisberg, TN, Robert Wallace of Durand and Autumn Wallace of Durand; 3 great grandchildren, McKenzie, Jacob and Brian; sister, Wanda Welch of Arkansas; 2 sisters-in-law, Brenda and husband Willy Munn of Georgia and Val Wallace of Burton; several nieces and nephews.
