Louella GROOMS

GROOMS, Louella -- Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died March 16, 2011 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing under the care of Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 19 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Don Tucker officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday, and 4-8 PM Friday. Mrs. Grooms was born August 24, 1926 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of George and Minnie (Dickerson) Noel. She married Eldoss Grooms on May 4, 1945 in Paragould. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Surviving are: husband of 65 years, Eldoss "Ed"; daughter-in-law, Barbara Grooms; grandchildren, Boyd and wife Corrine Grooms, and their children, Bronte, Austen and Chase Grooms, Chris and husband Doug Carey, and their children, Jackson and Olivia Gene Carey; sister, Frances Greer; and several nieces and nephews.
