Margaret Castle

CASTLE, Margaret Ann - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor David Daniel officiating. Burial immediateley following at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3-9 PM Friday and from 11:00 AM until time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to American Kidney Fund. Mrs. Castle was born June 30, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of William Donald and Edith Jane (Henwood) Fraser. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and attended G.M.I. where she was a IBG Girl. She married Clarence Robert Castle April 24, 1954 in Flint. She was a former member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Flint where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was an atlar server. She was very active at the Sand Lake Heights Community Center, where she was in the Women's Auxillary, headed up the funeral dinners and was Bazaar Chairwomen. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and crocheting. Surviving are: husband, Clarence Robert; 3 children, Keith Allen Castle of Durand, Karen Jane Castle of Swartz Creek, Kenneth Fraser Castle of Burton; 2 grandchildren, Kari Lynn Hajdino and Shad Wallen of Swartz Creek and Brandon Fraser Webb of Hale; 2 great granddaughters, Sayde and Gabrielle.
