MARTIN, Margaret Mae, age 88 of Flint, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Monday, October 6, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 Bristol Rd., Burton. Fr. Tim MacDonald celebrant. The family will receive friends 10AM Monday until time of mass at church. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8PM Saturday and 2-8PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. A rosary will be prayed 7PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Margaret was born October 23, 1919 in Essexville the daughter of the late John and Angeline (Duguay) Middleton. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and was employed by General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division for 28 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of UAW Local 658 and former member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, Flushing. Surviving are her 3 children, Judith (Ronald) Perkins of Flint, Ronald Martin of Gaines, Cathy (Burt) Tyler of Fenton; daughter-in-law Virginia Jacobs of Kodak, TN, 9 grandchildren, Cameron Taljonick Bradley (Lori) Taljonick, Shawn (John) Carr, Curtis (Janell) Taljonick, Scott Jacobs, Brent Jacobs, Lisa (Tim) Walker, Julie (Andy) Kirby, Tracy (Robert) Juliao; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; former spouse, Albert Martin of Grand Blanc; special friend, Diane Wilder. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary L. Jacobs in 2007; daughter-in-law, Karen Jacobs in 1989 and 3 infant grandsons, twins, Anthony J. and Christopher J. Martin, Todd A. Martin.
