Margaret Morey

MOREY, Margaret A. "Peg" - age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at her home. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 20, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Edward Norton officiating. Visitation will be held 12-8 PM Thursday and 11 AM until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Peg was born November 9, 1925 in Fenton, the daughter of Clarence and Esther (Ripley) McLenna. She married Douglas Morey in 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2006. Peg worked on the farm for 60 years side by side with Doug. She enjoyed watching and attending sporting activities, especially her grandchildren's events. Peg loved to play cards, crochet, read and take trips to the cabin. She will be missed by her two daughters, Katheryn and husband, John Daily of Davison, Marilyn and husband, Jason Nevadomski of Swartz Creek; son, Bradley Morey and wife, Sherridee of Swartz Creek; Eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Charles and David.
