JONES, Margie Mae, age 86, of Durand, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas died Tuesday January 1, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Sharp Funeral homes, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Theron Russell officiating. Visitation will be 4-8PM Wednesday and 10AM Thursday until time of service at the funeral home. A funeral service will also be held 11AM Saturday at Irby Funeral Home, Piggott, Arkansas with interment in Piggott Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association. Margie was born March 20, 1921 in Piggott, Arkansas the daughter of Riley and Lottie (Parton) Book. She married Rev. Forrest C. Jones on June 10, 1939 in Kennett, MO and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2006.  Margie gave of herself unconditionally to others. She had an open door for all family members to stay until they were were able to settle in while relocating to Michigan. She was a loving, loyal caregiver to her mother while raising seven children. More than anything she lived her life for her children and grandchildren, always putting the needs of others before herself, until the very end. Surviving are 5 children, Dewane Jones (Josephina) of Arkansas, Forrest "Dick" Jones of Grand Blanc, James Jones (Cindy) of Davison, Christine Pollok (Ronald) of Durand, Aaron Jones (Deborah) of Mt. Morris; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jay Book, Henry Book (Mary), Ray Book (Loretta) all of Arkansas; 2 sisters, Fae Pridmore of Texas, Louise Harmon of Missouri. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Anita Cousins and Betty Ziemke; grandson, James Jones;  brother, John Book; 3 sisters, Edith Simpson, Ethel Hampton and Virglie Binkley.
