Marian PENNINGTON

PENNINGTON, Marian - Age 95, of Burton, died Thursday, January 17, 2013. Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St, Fenton, with Pastor Josh Hoover officiating. Mrs. Pennington was born October 1, 1917 in Leeds, England, the daughter of Jack and May Laycock. She married Arthur Pennington and he preceded her in death April 1994. She had been employed by Smith Bridgeman's. Mrs. Pennington had resided in Flint most of her life. She was a member of St. Christopher Episcopal Church. She liked to bowl and enjoyed playing bridge. Mrs. Pennington was always involved with people and activities. Surviving are: son Edward Pennington; 4 grandsons, Edward and wife Kim Pennington, Christopher and wife Teresa Pennington, Jason and wife Michelle Pennington, and Steven and wife Ashley Pennington; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
