Marie Christine DANIELS

DANIELS, Marie Christine, age 71, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 E. Fifth Ave., Flint. Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. A rosary will be prayed 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, Catholic Outreach or A.S.P.C.A. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Marie was born March 3, 1939 in Flint the daughter of the late Norman Wm. and Catherine (Coulter) Daniels. She graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School in 1957 and continued to be a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was a member of the choir, and was employed as the office secretary at the church for 27 years. She also volunteered at Genesys Health Park. Marie put her faith in God, above all else in this world. Her greatest gift was her generosity, and her love for her family. A wonderful time in Marie's life was winning a trip to Hawaii and she took her two sisters along with her. Surviving are her 2 sisters, Sr. Mary Norman of Grand Blanc and Kathleen (John) Kuczera of Flint; niece, Kristen (Eric) Csirke of Flint; 3 nephews, John (Mary) Kuczera of Illinois, David (Gena) Kuczera of Flint, Andrew (Sarah) Kuczera of Clio; special cousin, Ann Marie Beattie of Flushing; special friend, Sr. Rita Berby of Grand Blanc; 8 great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
