BONNER, Marilyn Lou (Keesler) - age 81, resident of Fenton for nearly 30 years, formally of Flint, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 4, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Rev. Larry McMellen officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer's Association or Fenton Adopt-A-Per. Mrs. Bonner was born January 5, 1927 in Grand Ledge, MI, the daughter of Clyde and Thelma (Hodge) Kessler on her father's birthday. She grew up in Flint, Marilyn married William H. Bonner in October 1948 and together they raised three daughters. Later she attended and graduated from U of M Flint. She spent her entire teaching career at Washington Elementary. She had been a member of the Linden Presbyterian Church, served as a deacon and a member of the choir. She is survived by: her daughter, Carol Ann Price and husband, Paul, daughter, Linda Marie Hackley; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her parents; her husband, William, and her daughter, Lynn Michele Sale, preceded her in death. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the volunteers from Hospice, the caregivers from Christian Companion Care and Chris Zeba.
