Mary passed away on the 10th of November last year in her favorite place, Lake Tahoe, California. Her end came unexpectedly, just five days following her 65th birthday. She came into this world in 1948, not far from this, her final resting place, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, where her dad, James E. Gibson, was attending graduate school. She moved with her family to California in 1950 and grew up in Culver City. During her childhood and teen years she was very active in the local Girl Scout troop, led by her mother, Dorothy Gregory Gibson. She maintained close associations with many of her Scout friends throughout her life. A degree in Geography from UCLA proved valuable during her many years in real estate in the Lake Tahoe area. Recently she assayed a career change and earned credentials as an ultrasound technician. After living and working in the Lake Tahoe area for many years, she returned to Culver City to pursue her ultrasound career and to be closer to her dad. She is survived by her two sons, Dean and Anthony Michael, and grandchildren, Joshua and Allison Michael, all of Reno, Nevada; her brother, Lieutenant Colonel (retired) James G. Gibson of Woodbridge, Virginia; and her dad, who continues to live in Culver City, California.
