Michael Blake

BLAKE, Michael - Age 67, of Burton, passed away at home on July 11, 2016. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at South Baptist Church, 4091 VanSlyke Rd., Flint. Pastor Larry Burk will officiate. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice or South Baptist Church Benevolence Fund. Michael was born March 2, 1949 in Flint, the son of Delbert and Margaret (Adams) Blake. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from AC. Michael was a member of South Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and working with stained glass. He is survived by his wife. Janet; two sons, Tim (Heather) Blake and Terry Blake; step-children, Cameron (Melody) Linn and Jessica Johnson; grandchildren, Emily, Kelli, Ricky, Hannah, Jules, Jordan, Andrew, Ruby and Bennett; brother, Ron; friend, Wayne.
