Mickey THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Mickey, a resident of Fenton, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Caretel Inns of Linden. She was the daughter of Wilfred and Sopha (McManus) Seyfried. Mickey has been an area resident most of her life. She was an accomplished violinist and in recent years enjoyed playing for the residents of nursing homes. She also enjoyed bowling and fast cars. She is survived by her loving children; Lee Salmon (Betty) of Okemos, MI, Mary Wardie (Joseph) of Fenton and Kathy Lertola (Ray) of Houston, TX. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a sister, Billie Tanner of Davison. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Thana Seeman and her husband Frederick. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Sue Moore will officiate. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to Genesys Hospice.
